Empucate International is a non-profit organization registered with the Commonwealth of Kentucky with an extensive portfolio of activities in the Lexington, KY area.

Empowering communities through the might of Education is the pillar of our vision. The name of our organisation is hence cast and crafted from the compound EMPower and edUCATE.

Mission statement

We advocate for human development and well being in order to achieve locally and internationally a better world for refugees, immigrants, and war displaced people. Empucate International is dedicated to empower immigrants, refugees, and war displaced people through education and awareness in order to help them attain self-sufficiency and self-reliance.

What We Believe / Our Philosophy

Five principles guide the implementation of our mission:

  2. We believe that people are able to adjust to new and humanized environment.
  3. We strive to make our services accessible to the most challenged community members.

  5. We believe that our status as a private non-profit agency provides us with a unique opportunity to respond to the needs of people at the local and international level.
