Empucate International identified the vulnerability of refugees, immigrants, and war displaced people relocated to America. These communities have been the initial focus of our mission to Empower through education. The scope of our engagement is however broader and extends well beyond just the vulnerable. The digital divide is one of our targets. Modern technology is already being indicted of creating a new type of segregation. Many are being left out and poor in the middle of abundance. Communities need to leverage the plethora of information to be functional and active participants in emerging types of transactions led by the knowledge economy. The dawn of the fourth industrial revolution is already here, while many can barely count any benefit from the previous ones.
Empucate International is positioning itself at the nexus to Empower through Education. Education is defined in a broader sense as the dissemination of information and awareness to opportunities and “know how’s”.
We therefore stand at the nexus ready to connect communities with information necessary for their empowerment.
